In his teens he began to try his hand at hip hop by writing raps while in high school. He then attended the Phoenix Insitute of Technology and studied Architectual Design. With a friend he formed CIA which played at gigs hosted by Dr.Dre. He first gained national fame with the N.W.A. He later formed Westside Connection and is a promanate movie actor and producer.
